Edward J. Hicks Jr., 57, of the Drexel Hill section of Upper Darby, a printer, died March 1, 2009 at home.

Born in Darby, he graduated from Upper Darby High School.

Mr. Hicks was a printer for Diaphane Printing Co. in Chester and also worked for Berrodin Auto Parts.

He was widower of Susan E. McCarty Hicks and son of the late Edward J. Hicks and Catherine Donahue Hicks.

Survivors: Son, Edward J. Hicks IV of Drexel Hill; mother-in-law; father-in-law; two sisters-in-law; nieces.
