Fair winds and following seas,

may forever you feel, upon your cheek, the salty breeze.

Your spirit lives on in many a heart,

your words captured, and never to depart.

May your loved ones have the comfort in knowing,

to heaven is where you are, for all that they

have to do is look above and they will be reminded of your love.

To Debbie, family and friends,

No words can express my love for Marty growing up. You taught me your tenacious spirit, to succeed and not to give up or let go.  My memories will always remain in my heart. You helped in every area of my life lessons because of your gentle spirit. You were and continue to be my light. Until we meet again!

jUST A FEW YEARS AGO, I WAS THINKING ABOUT MARTY.  I SEARCHED AROUND FOR HIM ON THE NET AND DIDN'T COME UP WITH ANYTHING.  MARTY AND I WOULD RUN AROUND SOME ON THE WEEKENDS DRIVING AROUND IN HIS DAD'S CAR.

AN ALL-AROUND GOOD GUY.  REST IN PEACE MARTY.

The summer before I left for college I joined Marty to help him manage a growing troop of young sailors in the sea scouts. . We had some great adventures cruising on the Chesapeake and on the Delaware Bay and the Jersey shore.  We worked hard to maintain the "Squid " an old liberty launch which was a relic from World War II. Those were the days and I will not them. A good man with a heart of gold.

Marty was such a genuinely real friend and a truly unique individual.., always and forever. Perhaps even, my very first HERO….Ever competitive and a VERY wise-beyond-our-years ‘teacher’…who would never allow me to take the easy way out. I dearly miss my Brother already. ?
