Dear UDHS 1970 Classmate –
The party may be over, but the reunion continues as we renewed old friendships and made new acquaintances. Sharing some post reunion comments from your reunion committee:

Upper Darby High School Class of 1970
55 Year Reunion Committee – Post Reunion Comments
Kathleen Lybrand Murtagh - It was wonderful to see our classmates as they checked in. Everyone was excited to see who was at Barnabys and who was on their way. We are fortunate to have the class we have, as I know so many classes have no reunions. And I promise Mark Minassian, I will know you next time!
Cheers to Class of ‘70
Wayne McAllister - What a fun night for all! Food, music , decorations from our years in UDHS were all fantastic. Watching everyone laughing, reminiscing and just having fun was a pleasure. No one wanted to leave !
Congratulations to Stephanie and the committee for pulling off a wonderful night of fun !
Kathleen Lawler - Excellent evening. 💛💜
Such a joy to be part of this amazing group of friends. We are so very fortunate to have that UDHS “feeling” after all these years. Seeing a few yearbooks floating around, sharing memories, and smiling when someone “reminds” you of their name…priceless. Here’s to 60. Go Royals!
Stephanie Abramides - Seeing all of you radiant souls again reminded me why the Class of 70’ reunions matter so much!! The laughter, the stories, the hugs … it’s magic that only happens when we’re together. Let’s keep this tradition alive… see you next time!!
Bud Byrnes - As long as our fellow Royals are together, it's a good night. Turns out that food, location, entertainment, etc. was great, as well. Looking forward to the next one.
John Rosborough - It was a great time. I think everything went well - the band, the staff, the food, - it was just a great time.
Cheryl Eisenhuth Whiteley - I think it was a great evening - a total success. Here’s to all the work that everybody put in. The people that made phone calls to classmates and encourage them to come, those that sold 50/50 tickets, as well as door prizes, decorations and set up, the memorial table and memorabilia. It takes a village. We’re so glad they did. It was just perfect all the way around.
Patte Marshall Michel – Wow – right? The music with our classmate Jimmie Nigro's band Time Out, the pub setting and buffet at Barnaby's, and the over all good cheer from our classmates made this an amazing evening. And the hugs – loving the hugs. There were classmates there whom I have not seen in too many years, but so happy they decided to come this time – THANK YOU ALL!!! Let's all stay in touch and visit our website www.udhs1970.org and Facebook page Upper Darby Class of 1970 to learn about future events.
Anne Boyer Neborak - The Class of 1970 reunion was an awesome event for all who attended. Meeting up with old friends, reminiscing about the good old days and not wanting the night to end. Kudos to the committee members who made this such a great event and spent so much time making it a perfect night for all who attended. A Royal night! I am looking forward to the 60th reunion and helping out the committee more. Here’s to the UD Class of 1970!
