Carolyn Sinclair Obituary

Carolyn Jean Sinclair passed away peacefully at the age of 72 on October 25, 2024, in Drexel Hill, PA. Born on March 13, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA, Carolyn lived a life marked by love, generosity, and thoughtfulness. Her bright spirit and unwavering support for her family and friends will be deeply missed.

Carolyn was raised by her beloved parents, George and Hazel Sinclair, both of whom predeceased her. Alongside her brother, David Sinclair, who also preceded her in death, Carolyn developed a deep love for her hometown. Her passion for Philadelphia sports was unparalleled, with a particular fondness for the Phillies, a team she supported through thick and thin.

A proud alumna of Covenant College, Carolyn's commitment to education and her faith were cornerstones of her life.  Carolyn's involvement with Westminster Theological Seminary and Proclamation Presbyterian Church reflected her deep investment in her faith and her desire to contribute meaningfully to the ministry.

She is survived by her loving nephew, Nicholas Sinclair, and her caring niece, Christine (Sinclair) Haggerty. Carolyn's role as an aunt was one she cherished deeply, and the guidance and love she provided will forever be a beacon for her family.

Carolyn's life was a testament to the power of giving, and her memory will be honored in the stories shared by those who knew her best.  As we bid farewell to Carolyn Jean Sinclair, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit will live on through the lives she touched. Carolyn Jean Sinclair will be dearly missed, yet her spirit endures, inspiring us to live with the same grace and generosity she exemplified.
